Chris [Pratt] never uses a spit bucket. When you do scenes where a character is eating, you eat and then spit it out into a ‘spit bucket.’ Chris just keeps eating. If you see Andy eating a cheeseburger in a scene, you should know Chris Pratt ate like 8 cheeseburgers. I love that guy.

I was very “wet behind the ear” and she had been a professional leading actress in films for a while. I was struck by her maturity and how she bore pretty heavy burden for a young girl, woman even, so lightly. She was so game, so down to earth — a such fun to hang out with. We got on really well. -Benedict Cumberbatch

When I heard Benedict was doing it, i thought “Alright, go on!”. It’s always lovely working with friends. He’s having such an amazing, kind of, moment. He’s always been brilliant and he’s always worked more than any actor I’ve ever known. It’s sort of wonderful that he’s had some things where the success is finally caught up with him and it’s great. -Keira Knightley

Chris Pratt worked with Marvel and Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to arrange a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for patients, families and staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Wednesday. While the movie played, Pratt snuck out and dressed up as his character, Star-Lord. He spent more than three hours in full costume and handed out movie-themed toys. Pratt also visited patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, and the Pediatric ICU, as they were too sick to join the movie screening that afternoon.

Pratt spent extra time with one patient, Dylan Prunty, who is a longtime Lego fan and recognized the actor’s voice from The Lego Movie. They spent about 10 minutes reciting different scenes from the film.

reallukeshaw:

I love it when the Marvel fandom is like “The cast are pretty much the same as their characters!!”

because this is true for 99% of Marvel actors

Except for Sebastian Stan. Bucky was oozing chivalry and charisma, the Winter Soldier is not only terrifying but heartbreaking.
